BRET MICHAELS Released From Hospital

W. Scott Bailey of the San Antonio Business Journal reports that officials with Christus Santa Rosa Hospital Westover Hills now confirm that POISON vocalist Bret Michaels was released from Christus Santa Rosa Hospital-Westover Hills today after recovering from an emergency surgery on Sunday.

Christus Santa Rosa officials say Michaels was rushed to the far West Side hospital after suffering from severe stomach pains and what was initially thought to be a severe case of stomach flu. But a CT scan revealed that the 47-year-old Michaels, a diabetic, had an appendix that was ready to burst.
